GameFly U.S. Game Chart Highlights: Week Ending June 16

This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending June 16, highlights the popularity surrounding video game titles that have been already released, as well as those that are yet to debut. For the fourth week in a row, the week's top title on the all platform chart was Eidos' Hitman: Blood Money, followed by Take-Two's upcoming Xbox 360 first-person shooter Prey and Sega's action shooter Chromehounds. The same trio of titles also topped the list of the week's most requested Xbox 360 titles. On the original Xbox, Eidos' recently shipped shooter Urban Chaos: Riot Response was the most popular title for the week, as it knocked last week's top title Hitman: Blood Money into the second spot. Electronic Arts' explosive first-person shooter Black was the third most requested Xbox title for the week. For the third consecutive week, the top two requested PlayStation 2 titles for the week were Take-Two's Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories and Hitman: Blood Money. Bandai's anime-based fighting game Naruto: Ultimate Ninja was the third most popular title on Sony's platform for the week. GameCube requests for the week were again topped by THQ's Cars, which is based recent theatrical CG animated release for Pixar/Disney. Nintendo's Super Mario Strikers was the second most popular GameCube request for the week, followed by D3P's Naruto: Clash of Ninja. On the Game Boy Advance, Capcom's recently shipped pair of Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Falzar and Mega Man Battle Network 6: Cybeast Gregar served as the first and second most requested titles for the handheld for the week, followed by Nintendo's Pokemon Emerald. Turning to the Nintendo DS, Nintendo's New Super Mario Bros. was the most requested release for the platform, followed by casual games Big Brain Academy and Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day!. The PSP request list remained unchanged from last week, with Capcom's Monster Hunter Freedom ranked once again as the most requested PSP title for the week, followed by Sony Online Entertainment's turn-based strategy title Field Commander and Sony's action adventure game Daxter.
