The 2005 GameHotel event, a celebration of video gaming as it relates to pop culture at large, has announced its lineup of guests scheduled to appear at the show. The convention will host independent and groundbreaking developers from Europe, the USA, and Japan. Among those guests will be Keita Takahashi, creator of Katamari Damacy, making his first European appearance to promote the release of Everyone Loves Katamari in that territory. Also visiting from Japan will be Tetsuya Mizuguchi, head of Q? Entertainment and producer of games such as Rez, Lumines, and Meteos, discussing the development of the upcoming Ninety-Nine Nights. Events hosted by the show will include GameHotel Replay, a look at innovation in games of the recent past as they made use of the unique capabilities of six systems' hardware. The GameHotel Pop Culture Quiz will do as its name suggests, as well as provide a venue for the remarkable Tanguy Ukulele Orchestra to showcase its musical videogame covers. The 2005 GameHotel show will take place in Paris, France, on September 15 and September 22. The event begins at 8 PM.
