Representatives from digital delivery technology company Trymedia Studios have signed agreements with both Gamespy and IGN. The company will provide its catalog of full version PC titles for download through the two websites, allowing users to try the full game for a period of three hours, before decided whether to purchase it online. The first title being offered via IGN is Civilization III: Gold Edition. Gamespy downloads will be primarily offered via the company’s Fileplanet service.
