The organizers of Game Developers Conference Europe have now announced that it has opened its official sessions page, offering details on a number of new speakers and talks for the conference, due to take place between August 30th and September 1st at London's Le Meridien Hotel. Some newly announced highlights in addition to the recently revealed Phil Harrison and Keita Takahashi keynotes include a postmortem lecture for PSP launch title Wipeout Pure from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's Dave Burrows, a studio heads panel with Jason Della Rocca (Program Director, IGDA) overseeing a panel including Andrew Oliver (Chief Technical Officer, Blitz Games), Christopher Kingsley (CTO, Rebellion), as well as Team17's John Dennis and Swordfish Studios' Julian Widdows, plus Naughty Dog creative director E. Daniel Arey reprising "Designing the AAA Title : Letters from the Trenches", a survey of top creative game minds, and "Project Gotham Racing 3: Shifting Development to the Next Generation" from Chris Pickford and Gareth Wilson of Bizarre Creations. There are also a number of technical lectures already confirmed for GDC Europe, including one on KillZone's AI from the staff at Guerrilla Games, and an overview of the PSP from Sony speakers that includes information on game sharing for the PSP, plus Sony's own experience in shipping PSP launch titles. Organizers of the event have also reminded interested parties that the deadline for abstract submissions for GDC Europe is this Friday, 15th July. Submissions, to be put forward via the GDC Europe website, can take the form of abstracts for either presentations, panels, or longer tutorials, and relevant technical lectures are especially sought. [GDC Europe is presented by the CMP Game Group, organizers of the Game Developers Conference and Serious Games Summit, and publishers of Game Developer Magazine and Gamasutra.com.]
