GDC Russia Confirms Speakers, Shuji Utsumi Keynote

The organizers of Game Developers Conference Russia have announced final details for the upcoming event, including a keynote from Q Entertainment CEO Shuji Utsumi, alongside major speakers from Introversion, SCEE, and Bizarre Creations.

The organizers of Game Developers Conference Russia, which is co-developed by Gamasutra.com owner the CMP Game Group in association with Russian media company Gameland, have announced details surrounding speakers for the upcoming event, which will take place from October 18th - 20th, 2006 at the Hotel "Moscow" in St. Petersburg, Russia. Among those confirmed for the event include a keynote address by Shuji Utsumi, CEO of Q Entertainment (Lumines, Meteos), as well as lectures by Dan Bernstein, CEO of Sandlot Games (Cake Mania), Vicky Arundel and John Knottenbelt of Introversion (Darwinia, DEFCON), and Igor Makaruks of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe. Additional speakers for the event include Alex Marquez and Curt Nichols of Intel Capital, Brian Woodhouse and Nick Davies of Bizarre Creations (Project Gotham Racing series), and Vlad Suglobov of G5. The three-day conference will be targeted at game developers including project leads, producers, managers and global game industry business leaders, and will feature in-depth lectures from both Russian and international speakers. The first day will consist of full-day tutorials, while the next two will consist of regular conference sessions featuring three core tracks: Business, Production and Marketing.
