Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi revealed a downloadable update for Namco Bandai's unusual title Noby Noby Boy, as well as a forthcoming iPhone version. “In the update, it’s possible to do multiplay," Takahashi mentioned in his Game Developers Conference session today. This offline multiplayer mode allows players to eat each other. He added, “At maximum, four people can play at the same time.” Published in February 2009, Noby Noby Boy was released exclusively for PlayStation Network in February 2009. The downloadable update is slated for an April release. Though he didn't provide any firm details on pricing or a date, Takahashi announced that an iPhone version of the game is in development. “Before PS3, we thought it might be fun to do it on the iPhone," he said. "So, we're in the process of making it for the iPhone. I thought if we used the Boy from the iPhone as well, Girl can reach the solar system in only 400 years.”
