Hudson Entertainment, the North American publishing arm for Hudson Soft, announced that the company has expanded to a new location, after residing for the last three years at its San Mateo office - Hudson is now located in a new larger office in Redwood Shores, California. After an extended period of silence in the Western console space, Hudson Entertainment has made a number of key announcements recently, including several new titles in development such as Bomberman: Act Zero, and the long-running Japanese RPG Tengai Makyo for 360, as well as portable titles, including Dungeon Explorer and Nectaris for the PSP and Bomberman Land for the Nintendo DS. In addition, the company has licensed an unspecified amount of its previously released content for the Wii virtual console. Hudson Entertainment’s new headquarters is on the Peninsula, south of San Francisco, and just a few miles from the previous location. The new office features nearly 15,000 square feet of space, with an expanded server room, upgraded network connections, and views overlooking the Redwood Shores Lagoon. “Our company has grown each year, and a larger headquarters was a necessary next step for us,” said John Greiner President of Hudson Entertainment. “The new facilities provide room for further growth, as we expand our North American presence in the gaming and mobile content space. The additional space enables us to grow our marketing and development teams in particular.”
