The 27th annual IDATE Conference, to be held in Montpellier, France from November 22nd to November 24th, has announced that it will also be holding the 4th International Video Game Forum, subtitled 'The New Deal', on November 22nd. The series of talks and workshops, with titles including 'Mobile gaming in the network era', 'Massively multiplayer games and the mass market', and 'Is industry concentration inevitable?', will be followed by the IDATE International Conference opening reception, and this part of the much larger technology conference is supported by companies and entities including Lyon Game, the Interactive Software Federation of Europe, and a number of others. More information on IDATE's 4th International Video Game Forum, which describes itself as encouraging discourse between "publishers, developers, console manufacturers, market analysts, [and] government spokespeople", is available from its official website.
