The International Game Developers Association, a non-profit professional membership organization that advocates globally on issues related to digital game creation, is taking a survey on industry demographics and diversity, and is seeking input from the game development community. The survey, which will be anonymous for all participants, is available at the IGDA's website. Participants will be asked to answer 18 questions about their own demographics, such as gender, ethnicity, and location. Deadline for taking the survey is July 15th; the anonymous aggregate data will be presented in a freely available report in August. As an incentive to participate, those who take the survey will be eligible to win a Sony PSP.
