Mobile game middleware developer In-Fusio has announced that it has signed a licensing agreement with Sun to enable compliance of the Entertainment Gaming Extensions Software Development Kit to the Java Platform, Micro Edition (Java ME) standards. Upon request, the EGE SDK will be available for publishers and developers. In-Fusio is the first mobile entertainment service publisher to license Java ME technologies from Sun. As an active member and partner of the Java Community Process, In-Fusio will continue to support the Java standard as it develops and continues to gain momentum. As a member, In-Fusio played a key role in the standardization specification for mobile 3D graphics and helped in the definition of the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP 2.0). In-Fusio's EGE is a mobile games solution enabling operators, publishers, developers and manufacturers access to a suite of services, including real time multiplayer functionality, 3D game play, viral marketing such as "recommend to a friend," "try and buy," and a simplified user interface.
