Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
Currently available as a pre-release download, the Game Jolt client lets users browse, install, and play games without ever having to open a web browser.
Indie game marketplace and community Game Jolt has released its long-awaited desktop client.
Currently available as a pre-release download, the open source client lets users browse, install, and play games without ever having to open a web browser.
It also comes packed with a slew of new features including 'one click play', which streamlines game installation, an auto-updater that keeps games up-to-date, a built-in messaging system, HTML support, and an offline feature that allows installed games to be played with or without an internet connection.
The open source nature of the project means anyone can make changes and release their own customized version of the client, or even help the dev team fix bugs.
You can download the client right now from the Game Jolt website.
