Interactive Studio Management, a representation firm dedicated to electronic entertainment, has announced that its newest client is Digital Extremes, the Canadian-headquartered developer of recently released Xbox first-person shooter Pariah and the upcoming multi-platform action title Dark Sector. "We are extremely pleased with this new relationship with Digital Extremes," said Bob Jacob, co-founder of ISM. "Their co-creation of multi-million unit selling games, such as Epic's Unreal and Unreal Tournament, demonstrates the vast talent and potential of this developer. Now a part of the ISM family, we are looking forward to bringing their success to new heights." The move comes on the heels of ISM's acquisition of BizDev, Inc., a former competitor, to further enhance the company's client base - the firm's previous clients have included Digital Illusions CE, makers of the Battlefield games; Silicon Knights, developers of Eternal Darkness; and the recently Midway-acquired Paradox Development, developer of Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. ISM seeks to compete with other, more established agencies also representing electronic-based talent, such as Creative Artists Agency, where former Xbox executive Seamus Blackley now resides.
