Game security products and engineering services provider IT GlobalSecure announced that it is offering a one-day game security training program for interested game companies. According to IT GlobalSecure, the course will cover multiple aspects of game security including anti-piracy and conventional IT security, as well as cheating, griefing, tournaments, and gold farming. In addition, the company notes that many of these topics can be tailored to meet a game developer and publisher’s specific needs or requirements. IT GlobalSecure's team has over 40 staff-years of experience designing and deploying advanced secure information systems. IT GlobalSecure holds US and worldwide patents for fair play protocols and additional patents pending for its SecurePlay software, which simplifies multiplayer game programming and protects network games against cheating. “Developers and publishers that plan for security can avoid most problems”, states Steven Davis, CEO of IT GlobalSecure, "The objective of our Game Security course is to help game companies help themselves. Game security encompasses the entire game team – from executives and game designers to marketers and programmers." For more information on this training program, visit the official website.
