The Journal of Game Development, an academic and peer-reviewed journal for publishing game-related research, has issued a call for papers. The journal, which is operated by Charles River Media, is about to publish its fourth issue after being founded in 2003, and intends to begin a quarterly publication schedule if response to the paper drive is high enough. The JOGD covers many areas of game development, including AI, physics, networks, programming, graphics, audio, simulation, polygonal techniques, real-time issues, and others, so submissions on any topic related to game development would be welcomed. Submissions must be original and previously unpublished, and each submission must include an abstract in addition to the authors' names and contact information, a title page, the article text, works cited, illustrations, and a completed Assignment of Copyright form, available along with fuller submission guidelines at the official JOGD website. All submissions will be refereed by the Editorial Board. Those selected for publication will receive five copies of the issue in which their papers appears.
