Kynogon, the developer of RenderWare A.I. has announced that its Kynapse AI SDK is available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. According to the company, with Kynapse, NPCs can move around in any 3D dynamic world, understand their environment, hide, communicate, cooperate, drive vehicles, and a multitude of other actions. The company most recently announced that current Test Drive Unlimited developer Eden Games has licensed the technology - previous or current Kynogon customers include EA Games, Vivendi Universal Games, Real Time Worlds, Amuze, and Midway. "Xbox 360 is a very exciting platform for Kynogon. Its architecture and performance offer tremendous opportunities for behavior simulation. As of today, 3 games are being developed using Kynapse on Xbox 360 and we are confident that the Xbox 360 will enable new game-play and character behaviors never seen before", commented Pierre Pontevia, Kynogon CEO.
