After a fairly busy previous month, the PC market in the U.S. has slowed almost to a stop in terms of new releases. Only four games have changed position in the whole top ten, and the highest new entry is DreamCatcher’s Dungeon Lords at number sixteen. The top three titles remain entirely static, with massively multiplayer online games Guild Wars and World of WarCraft continuing to dominate. The highest riser is strategy title Empire Earth II, which moves up eleven places to number four, while Lego Star Wars has been boosted eight places to number ten in the wake of the new movie release. The summer months are always slow for any format, though, and with the PC’s traditionally more slim-line release schedule, the current malaise in the chart is not necessarily of great concern.
