Following last week's double-headed Xbox Live Arcade update, Microsoft has again announced that two new games will be released to the Arcade this Wednesday, Klei's puzzler Eets: Chowdown, and Zen Studios' Pinball FX. The first game, from Klei Entertainment (previously interviewed and featured on Gamasutra) is Eets: Chowdown, an update to their 2D PC original. Chowdown will feature 120 levels of puzzles, with gamers using items such as Prankster Whales, Marshomechs, and Radioactive Ginseng to change main character Eet's emotions to guide it through hazards to the level's exit. Also new to the Xbox Live Arcade version will be Marsho Madness, an action-oriented mode to the game with co-op play to keep 'impending evil marshmallows at bay,' as well as the Arcade standard 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore points. Chowdown will be sold for 800 points ($10). Also arriving Wednesday is Pinball FX from Zen Studios, creators of the forthcoming character-based DS pinball title Flipper Critters. Microsoft promises Pinball FX will offer a unique pinball experience for both novices and experts, with both traditional arcade pinball action and innovative new features, including flipper control using the Xbox 360's Live Vision Camera. Pinball FX will also offer online multiplayer head-to-head pinball for up to 4 players, and 3 different pinball tables, and will be sold for 800 points ($10) as well. Both games will head to the Arcade April 25th, as part of the service's regular Wednesday updates.
