LOL EU LCS 2016, Learn From The Best Player

While Fnatic first came into the series as the underdogs because of their disappointing regular season, the team has had historically higher standards than a lot of the others. Even after they signed Spirit, a talented jungler of League of Legends, it still did not offset the loss of their team captain and franchise player Yellowstar. He was one of Europe's superstar figures in the League of Legends games, but he left a little before the 2016 season, and he left Fnatic, the top Western team, with just two players from the 2015 lineup. Ever since, they have been trying to recuperate from the loss, but it has not been easy. 

The Loss of Their Shot Caller

Nevertheless, even with the shot calling issues that the team is currently experiencing, they have won plenty of games based on mechanical skills, and they have been able to snowball other games when other LoL players make mistakes in the early game. On the other hand, we have Team Vitality, and they are a different beast altogether. For example, they have one of the more impressive rotational teams when it comes to the LoL EU LCS. In most cases, Team Vitality has had no trouble with matching the majority of teams when it comes to the laning phase. One of the noteworthy players on the team is Cabochard and how he has been bossing a lot of the top lane match ups, and in the earlier game, he has normally been the leading player for Team Vitality. He's a French player, and he will often pick characters like Fizz, Yasuo or Kennen because they have a hard carry style.

Into the Match up as Underdogs

In the regular League of Legends tournament season, Fnatic has come into this lineup as the underdog. Their ultimate goal for winning these matches should be an early snowball because they will not have the capability of matching Vitality's strong lineup, but with a more even pegging, it'd be a more intense rivalry. With Febiven rolling through the mid, that may be the best hope that the team has for winning the series. On Vitality's side, Nukeduck has been a solid player, and he is not the same mercurial talent that we saw when he played for the Lemondogs in season three. If Febiven gets to play the make with champions like LeBlanc, that could be enough to tip the scale so that the underdogs could win two games. Without that, however, Team Vitality probably has a more rounded and dependable team that will rule in the macro game. The favor is more in their court for taking the series because they have a lot more advantages, but we could still be left surprised.

Disappointing Season for Origen

When we look at this Spanish League of Legends team, it's somewhat depressing to watch their season. Near the end of the split, they charged into the 4th seed with a 4—0 record. One of the key disadvantages that they are at this season has been the fall off of Amazing with jungling. He has struggled to adapt to the meta changes this year, and as a result, we have seen his game diminishing on a huge level. Soaz has also been an inconsistent player, and he has given up a lot of deaths for the team. With those factors in mind, Origen look like a promising team when rolling into the playoffs. Xpeke has renewed the much-needed decisiveness that they need.

Unicorns of Love and How They are Faring 

UoL fell off the cliff during the final weeks. They started at 2—4 in the final three weeks, but the killing issue for the team this season has been jungling. When Diamondprox, a talented Russian jungler for the Unicorns of Love had visa issues, he couldn't attend. A lot of their skirmish heavy playing style has depended on jungling in the early game, and the loss of that has been crushing for the team. If they can even hope to survive in the coming season, they will have to adapt to a new style fast because with the current way they are doing things, there's no way that they will continue.

The upcoming game will hinge upon two separate factors. First, can Unicorns of Love snowball the game early enough to win? If they cannot, will Origen have the decisive mid that has become their hallmark move? While they are most likely the stronger team, they will still need to overpower UoL, and they have been shown to play well in those critical moments. In the early game, UoL will want to focus on an early jungle skirmish using Amazing, and they will want him under a lot of pressure. For the most part, Amazing has been the consistent weak point when defeating their Spanish rival team. If they cannot manage to do that, it is likely that UoL will suffer a heartbreaking loss.

The LoL esport is just starting to heat up, and we can see some very strong gameplay from all of these teams despite some of them having obstacles to overcome. It will be some interesting match ups, and watching the LCS live will definitely yield some excellent tips and tricks for playing the game better. It is also just an interesting and fun sport to watch how these teams will choose to approach their rivals, and whose technique will prove the victorious strategy.
