Representatives from 3D content creation software company Luxology have announced a new internal training division that will be creating comprehensive learning materials for users of its Front Line Award winning modo modeling, painting and rendering software. The first set of training materials to be produced by the new division will be a 17-video series covering modeling, texturing and lighting for a Le Mans C9 race car. In addition, the company's training division also is offering the Official Luxology modo Guide, published by Thompson Publishing, a 400-page book by Dan Ablan, and a 15-hour DVD providing an introduction to modo usage, also by Dan Ablan. Luxology says its new training division continues to leverage the talents of its modo community members from its ever-growing modo community, publishing a number of tutorials and work studies on modo3d.com, offering training for a wide variety of skill levels. “The demand for modo training materials has reached critical mass,” said Brad Peebler, president and co-founder of Luxology. “We are committed to meeting this demand so that modo users can have a steady flow of professional quality training materials on a variety of real-world topics.”
