Microsoft has announced the first DLC for its Mistwalker developed Xbox 360 exclusive RPG Lost Odyssey, adding a new dream sequence and two new items for the game, now available for download from Xbox Live. The so called 'Triple Bonus Pack' adds a new 'dream sequence' background story entitled The Shattered Beyond, a new 'memory lamp' item that will allow players to view previously seen dreams, and a new item, the Battle Ring, which was "introduced to specialize in fighting against magic powered weapons." First released in February, Lost Odyssey is an RPG from former Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi along with other ex-Square Enix staff at developer Feelplus. The title debuted at number 7 in February's NPD charts. Gamasutra talked with Feelplus president Ray Nakazato in 2007, who described the game as "turn-based," but with "real-time flavor." The DLC pack is being offered at 200 Microsoft Points ($4), and is now available for download.
