Singapore-based mobile entertainment company Acme Mobile announced today that it will begin distributing its collection of "World’s Best Mobile Content" through BuzzCity’s myGamma portal in select Asian countries. myGamma is a mobile social networking app aimed at young adults that allows users to set up and join groups, keep a MoBlog, make announcements, and participate in other similar social networking activities. myGamma users will be able to purchase Acme Mobile’s content through the Gamma Wallet payment system. The “G-Wallet” as it’s called, is a points-based, pre-pay system in which users buy or earn activity-based points, which are then used to buy games, images, tones and other kinds of mobile entertainment. “This is a great opportunity for us and the myGamma mobile community as well,” says Paul Meyers, Acme Mobile’s Founder & CEO. “myGamma users are quite sophisticated. They are always looking for great, new content, which is what Acme will provide them,” adds Meyers. “As a ‘Red Herring Asia 100’ company, BuzzCity is an established regional force in the mobile community space. We look forward to the success of this initial distribution through myGamma and hope to expand to other markets with BuzzCity very soon.”
