Scotland-based mobile game developer Tag Games announced recently a distribution deal with Indiagames which will see the company's titles distributed across the Indian sub-continent. The first Tag Games title to be carried is Dead Water, an action-adventure title set in a sinking ship, requiring players to perpetually avoid rising water levels. Titles slated for Indian distribution in 2007 include action puzzler Rock’n’Roll and the GTA-inspired Car Jack City. The announcement is the latest in a string for Indiagames, as more and more Western mobile companies partnerfor distribution in the region. Other recent partners include Danish publisher Touchlink, and developer Smackall.com. "Indiagames has been at the forefront of mobile gaming from the earliest days of the industry. It is a pleasure to welcome them to our network of distribution partnerships. I’m sure we will benefit greatly from their experience and expertise in the mobile entertainment industry and look forward to working with them in the Indian sub-continent, as well as the wider global market," Tag Games' managing director Paul Farley said in a statement.
