Event organizers have announced Enterprising Games Week, a London conference designed to focus on how companies can leverage off of AI, virtual worlds, games and web 2.0 functionality in the areas of brand extension and immersive learning experiences. The two-day event is scheduled to take place June 27-28 in London at RIBA in Portland Place. Organized by Apply Group and the Alliance for New Generation Interactive Leisure and Simulations (ANGILS), the event will also feature a keynote by prominent game designer Peter Molyneux on using A.I in entertainment, media and serious games. Other speakers will include Nader Nanjiani, who will speak on how technology firm Cisco extended its brand image using Linden Lab's popular virtual world Second Life, and Ambient Performance's Ron Edwards, who will address the topic of “social media,” such as blogging podcasting, and YouTube. Martine Parry, founding director of ANGILS and production director of Apply Group, commented, “With 2 conferences and 2 masterclasses across 2 days, focused on the key issues, coupled with the quality of our speakers, Enterprising Games Week is the right one-stop forum to learn about what can be achieved whilst networking for business.” For more information on Enterprising Games Week, including a conference schedule and registration details, visit the official website.
