Officials from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) have revealed a new PlayStation 3 bundle for the UK, featuring the existing 40GB version of the console and a choice of any two of Sony’s own published titles. The 40GB version is currently the only model of PlayStation 3 being sold in the UK, at a stand alone cost of £299.99. The new bundle, named Pick ‘n’ Mix, is priced at £349.99 and allows consumers to choose any two games from a range that includes almost all of the titles currently published by SCEE itself. The full list of games includes Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, SingStar, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, Folklore, Lair, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Resistance: Fall of Man, Genji: Days of the Blade, Formula 1: Championship Edition and Namco Bandai’s Ridge Racer 7. The only major Sony published title not included in the deal is MotorStorm. The bundle will be introduced on Friday, January 18th, and at the moment is not described as a limited time offer. No announcement has been made as to whether the bundle will also be offered in the rest of Europe or in North America.
