[UPDATED: 1:45pm PST] Today's regularly updated newsbriefs include recruiting firm Enterprise Talent hiring Fiona Cherbak for the firm's new interactive entertainment division, the announcement of Hi-Rez Studios' MMO Global Agenda, and Electronic Arts' release of video game soundtracks over iTunes. - Technology recruiting firm Enterprise Talent announced the appointment of recruiting executive Fiona Cherbak as the director of client relations. Enterprise Talent officials note that Cherbak’s background in entertainment recruiting and human resources will serve as the foundation for a new interactive entertainment division at L.A.-based Enterprise Talent, an area of the company positioned to focus on the latest hiring requirements of the internet, mobile and video game industries. Cherbak previously served as the director of business development with games industry recruiting company, Mary-Margaret, and senior international recruiting specialist for Walt Disney Feature Animation. - Hi-Rez Studios, a developer of online interactive entertainment software located outside of Atlanta, Georgia, has announced its current MMO project for the PC, Global Agenda. Described as "a mission-based action MMORPG...set in a near future world of espionage and tactical covert operations," the game is built upon Epic's popular Unreal Engine 3 middleware solution, and has been in development for over two years. According to a statement issued by Hi-Rez Studios, Global Agenda will feature "fast-paced ranged and close combat, RPG-style character progression, solo or cooperative team missions, and competitive play on a massive scale between player-created agencies." Commented Hi-Rez COO Todd Harris: "We want to provide players an engaging, next-generation tactical combat experience, but within the context of a single, evolving, massively multiplayer online world where actions have consequences. Player-created agencies, with the right strategy and skill, can have a very real impact on each other and the world itself." - Electronic Arts has announced the availability of music from several of its more popular games from recent years is now available for purchase and download from the iTunes online store. The online collection currently include soundtracks from titles many of the company's popular sports franchises such as Madden NFL and SSX to even licenses such as Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. In addition, EA notes that it plans to add songs, scores, themes, beats and ringtones from EA game franchises past and present going forward.
