Officials from Nintendo of Europe have announced a massive €35 million ($40.2m) European marketing campaign. Designed to focus on the release of Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and associated bundles the TV campaign will apparently target children and families. Cinema ads for the Game Boy Advance though will be aimed at a more general audience. With similarly huge marketing budgets already announced by Sony and Microsoft this will result in by far the largest joint marketing spend ever seen in the territory.
