In a somewhat embarrassing statement, Nintendo officials admitted that the use of the Game Boy Advance is no longer mandatory for its forthcoming Gamecube title The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. The game, along with fellow GC-to-GBA connectivity titles Tetra’s Trackers and Pac-Man vs., were the centerpiece of the company’s 2003 E3 announcements, but it was revealed earlier in the year that Tetra’s Trackers (now Navi Trackers) will now be bundled together with Four Swords and Namco is already selling Pac-Man vs. as a free bonus with their other titles.
