Nintendo of Europe has announced the launch of the Wii's new game download service, WiiWare, in Europe, offering six titles from both first-party and third-party developers. Nintendo of Australia has followed suit and released the service in Australia, providing an identical lineup of game for Wii owners to download. Of the eight games listed in Nintendo of Europe's tally of expected launch window titles, only two games were missing from this week's release, Pop (Nnooo) and Pirates: The Key of Dreams (Oxygen Interactive). The six games currently available in Europe and Australia's WiiWare channel are as follows: Dr. Mario & Germ Buster (Nintendo) - 1000 Wii Points Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (Square Enix) - 1500 Wii Points Lost Winds (Frontier) - 1000 Wii Points Star Soldier R (Hudson) - 800 Wii Points Toki Tori Take 2 (Two Tribes) - 900 Wii Points TV Show King -(Gameloft) 1000 Wii Points Of those titles, Dr. Mario & Germ Buster and Toki Tori Take 2 are currently unavailable on the North American WiiWare channel, which debuted last week on May 12th. Toki Tori Take 2 has yet to launch on Japan's WiiWare channel, either, which opened on March 25th.
