Gamasutra has learned that Paul Robinson, a veteran game designer and writer credited with working on games like Full Spectrum Warrior and Command & Conquer: Renegade, passed away yesterday in Warsaw, Poland.

The news comes courtesy of a memorial posted to Facebook by the folks behind Uncharted Regions, who produce audio dramas and had been working with Robinson on a script for their first season.

According to the memorial, Robinson had a broad career that stretched to encompass military service, games, and Hollywood scriptwriting, reportedly including contributions (under a pen name) to the Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager television series.
