French auto manufacturer Peugeot has announced an open online contest for fans to select their favorite 2007 concept car design to be included in a forthcoming Xbox 360 video game. Peugeot has narrowed the original 4000 entries to a body of 30, which are to be voted on by the public through January 23rd. Following the public vote. which will narrow the selection of 30 to 10, an undisclosed judging panel, including a representative from Microsoft Game Studios, will select the top winner from the body of 10. The selected winner will not only see their concept car reproduced in full-scale at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show, but will also be digitally modeled and drivable in a forthcoming Xbox 360 video game. Though the aforementioned Xbox 360 title has yet to be formally announced, the inclusion of a Microsoft Game Studios representative and online reports of redacted press quotes by Peugeot strongly suggest the concept car will be included in the upcoming Project Gotham Racing 4. To vote for your ten favorite entries, visit Peugeot's contest website through January 23rd. The winner will be announced between February 14 and February 21.
