Officials from Acclaim Games have confirmed a partnership with online ePayment firm Click&Buy to provide payment services for the company's line of online games. Payments within the games will be made via a virtual wallet, a system that will allow users to purchase virtual 'Acclaim Coins' for use in all of the company's online games. Acclaim’s existing online games include Bots, 9Dragons, and the Korean-style MMORPG 2Moons, which is being developed with the help of game development veteran and Shiny Entertainment founder David Perry. Acclaim's in-game e-commerce activities will be now handled by Click&Buy, which will manage not only the payment process, but also offer live customer support for consumers, credit card fraud detection, monthly invoicing and various payment methods. Click&Buy processes, handles and manages digital and paid content for games, songs, movies, streaming video, podcasts, RSS, television, publishing and mobile devices. A number of recognizable brands and companies make use of the services provided by Click&Buy for enabling online customer transactions, including Apple iTunes, Skype, Electronic Arts, Univision, iVillage and SanDisk. “We selected Click&Buy because it is an ideal solution for people to safely and easily purchase digital media including games on the Internet,” said Howard Marks, CEO of Acclaim Games.
