Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in an exclusively compiled list. Fallout 3, Guitar Hero: World Tour, and LittleBigPlanet figure among the dozens of new releases scheduled to hit the United States in the coming week. Gamers in the UK will get an early look at Valkyria Chronicles, meanwhile, as Japan gets Grand Theft Auto IV and Valkyrie Profile: Toga o Seoumono. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending November 1st, 2008. Games Released in the United States:

Activision's band simulation title Guitar Hero: World Tour arrives in stores in North America this week, with standalone and instrument peripheral-bundled versions soon to be available for the Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PS2. The awaited post-apocalyptic RPG sequel Fallout 3 is also scheduled to hit multiple platforms in the coming week. The PlayStation 3 will additionally see a number of significant platform-exclusive premieres, including LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, and SingStar: Vol. 2. PC gamers will receive the RTS sequel Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, while portable highlights include Master of the Monster Lair on the Nintendo DS and The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga for the PSP. Games Released in Europe:

Sega's Valkyria Chronicles is set to make its English-language debut in Europe this week, arriving several days in advance of its planned U.S. release date. This week will also bring an early worldwide release for James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace, along with the long-delayed European premiere of Manhunt 2, which had previously been blocked from release in the United Kingdom. Games Released in Japan:

Grand Theft Auto IV hits Japan this week, arriving on consoles alongside localized versions of Fracture and LittleBigPlanet. PlayStation 3 owners will also see a disc release of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Spec III, an upgraded version of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue that was previously distributed as downloadable content in Japan and other territories. The Nintendo DS, meanwhile, will host a new entry in Square Enix's Valkyrie Profile series this week with Valkyrie Profile: Toga o Seoumono, along with the Wii-ported dungeon crawler Cid to Chocobo no Fushigi na Dungeon: Toki Wasure no Meikyuu DS+ and the Nintendo-developed walking trainer Aruite Wakaru: Seikatsu Rhythm DS.
