Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in an exclusively compiled list. Prince of Persia, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, and a PC port of Grand Theft Auto IV headline in this week's North American multiplatform lineup. Gamers in Europe can expect to see a localization of Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City, while Japan gets 428: Fuusa Sareta Shibuya de and a remake of Kaze no Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending December 6th, 2008. Games Released in the United States:

North America's release lineup rebounds slightly after last week's sparse showing, as this week's multiplatform list features awaited titles like Prince of Persia and Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon. PlayStation 2 owners will soon receive Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, a remake of the previously Game Boy Advance-exclusive Kingdom Hearts sidestory Chain of Memories. The Nintendo DS will receive its own Prince of Persia title this week, meanwhile, as PC gamers get their first shot at Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto IV. Games Released in Europe:

The PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV is set to premiere in the UK this week, arriving alongside awaited offerings like Prince of Persia and Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City. European-exclusive releases for this week include the DS virtual life sim Baby Life, upgraded XBLA-to-PS3 port Brain Challenge Deluxe, and the worldwide English-language debut of Nintendo's Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. This week brings Japanese localizations of recent western-developed hits like Fallout 3 and Saints Row 2. PlayStation 3 owners get a baseball sim sequel in Konami's Pro Yakyuu Spirits series, while the Nintendo Wii receives Sega's awaited text-based mystery title 428: Fuusa Sareta Shibuya de and a remake of Namco's classic platformer Kaze no Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. Portable highlights for this week include Sony's LocoRoco 2 on the PSP, a DS localization of Boku to Sim no Machi Kingdom (MySims Kingdom), and the Nintendo-published cooking trainer Sekai no Gohan Shaberu! DS Oryouri Navi.
