In the response, which was made as part of an impromptu interview with gaming weblog Joystiq at Develop Conference in Brighton, Harrision noted: “There's always going to be a risk when you are market leader for ten years that we start to lose perspective; and we have to make sure that we don't lose perspective. But I don't think we're arrogant, I think we have to recognize that we're in a highly competitive industry and that anything that we say will be eternally editorialized by professionals and consumers alike. So we're always in the spotlight.” - The latest updates on Gamasutra sister weblog GameSetWatch include videos taken from the recent Evo West fighting game tournament, a look at going online with the Dreamcast today, and a look back at the Psygnosis-published Roll Away for the Sony PlayStation. - Also updated today: a Serious Games Source feature concerning peace games at the recent 2006 Games For Change Annual Conference, product news including the release of PathEngine SDK 5.03 and a new deal between Gala-Net and Korean security solutions company AhnLab, plus the latest Gamasutra job postings, featuring openings from BioWare Corp.
