Education-oriented publisher Scholastic has launched a children's learning game for Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch platforms. Clifford's BE BIG with Words teaches basic word-building skills and enhances vocabulary for young players. Clifford's BE BIG with Words includes over 100 three-letter words, all of which are pronounced phonetically when successfully spelled. After each word is constructed, players will receive a brief lesson in how its letters connect and form specific sounds. Each of the game's 115 words is accompanied by a picture featuring characters from the Clifford the Big Red Dog series of children's books. Clifford's BE BIG with Words is the third iPhone title to be based on a Scholastic-published series of books. Previously, the company released the hidden object games I SPY: Spooky Mansion and I SPY: Riddle Race. All Scholastic titles are available for purchase at the iTunes App Store.
