Representatives from British publisher SCi have announced that the company is raising profit expectation by around 7.5 percent, for the full year ending 30th September. The improved results, which will see a profit figure of £2.5 million ($4.5m) for the company, are being attributed to strong sales of Conflict: Vietnam and, to a lesser degree, Richard Burns Rally and Galleon. At the same time, the company has also announced a new publishing deal in North America for future titles in the Conflict and Carmageddon franchises, as well as a game using the "Reservoir Dogs" film license. The company also announced that it would release twelve titles for the Gizmondo portable console, including entries in the Conflict, Carmageddon and Richard Burns Rally series. This is in addition to a deal with Swedish mobile games publisher Synergenix to release a number of new titles for mobile phone formats. With a strong line-up of titles over the next few months, including rights to the film license Constantine, the comic book license Rogue Trooper and the highly anticipated Battlestations: Midway likely to sustain the company in the medium term, the firm seems to have a good chance of overtaking Eidos Interactive and Codemasters as the UK’s biggest independent publisher.
