SensAble Technology has announced that version 2.0 of its Freeform Concept software, 'a unique touch-enabled system that gives designers a fast and intuitive way to develop realistic 3D conceptual designs', is now shipping. The new version of the Freeform Concept software, used in conjunction with the Phantom Omni haptic hardware device, includes new modeling tools, import of 3D IGES files, updated rendering, mass properties calculation, support for new graphics boards, and performance enhancements that increase productivity.
