Technewsworld.com is reporting that Sharp has released its 3D autostereoscopic laptop in the Japanese market. Using a special filter on the laptop’s LCD panel, the display can be switched between 2D and 3D modes, unlike other autostereoscopic displays that distort normal 2D images. Sharp expects to release a U.S. version of this notebook later this year.
