Developer Sidhe has announced the release of the first Xbox Live Arcade expansion pack to Gripshift, the racing game it brought to the Xbox 360 following release on PSP and PlayStation 3, with new modes, tracks, arenas, and music. Specifically, Sidhe says the so called Turbo Expansion Pack, available for 350 Microsoft Points (approximately $4.30) will include eight new race tracks, eight new deathmatch arenas, and eighteen new music tracks. The pack will also include new single-player bonus games including Penguin Bowling, Playground, and Snaker, and new multiplayer game Reverse Tag, which "challenges competitors to master their wit, weapons, and skills like never before." Said managing director Mario Wynands, "With Turbo, we wanted to extend the Gripshift experience for fans that loved the game's initial content. Gripshift Turbo's bonus single-player mini-games will ensure endless excitement for veteran players, while the new multiplayer mode gives new players a competitive edge. Penguin Bowling, the popular mini-game from the PSP version, is returning with as much penguin crushing excitement as ever."
