Adding to its Games Bazaar Initiative, IDA Singapore announced a promotion program that assists games companies in the Asian marketplace via a modicum of promotional and marketing assistance. The program includes advertising in targeted online and print media, regional and international consumer road shows and conferences. In addition, localization services such as editing and language dubbing, help to adapt products to local consumer tastes. The Games Bazaar's Promotion Program will initially roll-out in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore and scale-up to include other cities over the next two years. With the launch of the promotional program, the Games Bazaar now provides a relatively affordable, complete deployment and commercialization platform for game publishers and developers that includes localization, testing, distribution and promotion in Asia. In addition, Singapore's recent launch of the business continuity and disaster recovery standards ensures that hosting facilities for distribution and multiplayer games have a higher level of reliability and security.
