Sony Ericsson today announced a trial service that lets consumers play interactive mobile games with their Sony Ericsson mobile phones. Two games have been announced for the trial--the 4-player Rally game, and the 8-player RC Battle game. Sony Ericsson states that the games should be available in all regions, though may not work on all networks. The trial is slated to run through early next year, and will work for most recent Sony Ericsson phones, including the T300, T306, T310, T316, T226, T230, T608, T610, T616, Z600, Z608 and T630. The press release states that the games will be available in mid-December, but no details were given on where the games could be downloaded, and I was unable to find them either by browsing sonyericsson.com with a desktop browser or with the WAP browser in my T616.
