Publisher and developer Take-Two announced that it appointed Gary Dale, previously the company's executive vice president, as its chief operating officer, where he will be responsible for Take Two's publishing labels.
Publisher and developer Take-Two announced that it appointed Gary Dale, previously the company's executive vice president, as its chief operating officer. In his new role, Dale will oversee Take-Two's publishing labels, as well as its sales activities, international expansion, and business development initiatives. He will continue to report to Take-Two CEO Ben Feder. Before his COO and EVP positions, Dale served as COO of Rockstar games from January 2007 through December 2007. Prior to that, he worked as Capcom Entertainment's European managing director beginning in 2003. He was also president of BMG' Entertainment's Interactive Software and Video Division until Take-Two acquired BMG Interactive in 1998. Said Feder: "Gary Dale has been a valuable member of the Company's management team, serving in a number of increasingly important roles. He also is highly experienced in many of the disciplines that will be essential to Take-Two's future growth, including the operations of our publishing labels, global market expansion, sales and distribution, and business development."
