[Sister site FingerGaming rounds up the week's most popular paid and free iPad gaming applications on the App Store as of today, with Scrabble for iPad finishing as today's top seller, while Alpine Crawler HD heads the free charts.] This week's top paid titles are: 1. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99) 2. Pinball HD ($2.99) 3. Real Racing HD ($9.99) 4. Angry Birds HD ($4.99) 5. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($9.99) 6. Flight Control HD ($4.99) 7. Geared HD ($0.99) 8. Civilization for iPad ($12.99) 9. Words With Friends HD ($2.99) 10. Boggle for iPad ($4.99) EA's Scrabble for iPad retakes the top sales spot in the iPad's Games category this week, as last week's chart winner Hotel Mogul HD drops out of the top ten. Namco's Pac-Man has also seen a drop in popularity since returning to full price, as Pinball HD and Real Racing HD move up to take second and third place. Clickgamer's Angry Birds HD claims fourth place this week, outselling PopCap's Plants vs. Zombies and Firemint's Flight Control HD. Bryan Mitchell's puzzler Geared HD finishes at seventh place after dropping in price to 99 cents, while 2K's Civilization Revolution overtakes Words with Friends HD and Boggle for iPad. Here are this week's top free iPad applications: 1. Alpine Crawler HD 2. Touch Hockey Extreme: FS5 Free 3. GodFinger for iPad 4. Blackjack HD Free 5. The Solitaire 6. Racecar 7. We Rule Gold for iPad Dimension Technics' cross-country vehicle sim Alpine Crawler HD leads today's free iPad game app charts, following a third-place debut last week. Last week's top download -- Tribeflame's multiplayer racing title Racecar -- falls to sixth place in today's rankings, as Touch Hockey Extreme: FS5 Free moves up to second place. Ngmoco's free-to-play god sim GodFinger also sees renewed popularity this week, surpassing Blackjack HD and The Solitaire for third place. Tap Tap Radiation returns to the charts at eighth, meanwhile, as Labyrinth 2 HD Lite and We Rule Gold close out today's results.
