Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep - Final Mix for PSP launched at number one on the Japanese retail game charts, pushing Monster Hunter Freedom 3 out of the top spot for a second week. This version of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep is a re-release of the original PlayStation Portable title, featuring English voices as well as some additional content. For the week ended January 23, the Disney-inspired action RPG sold 77,317 units, while Monster Hunter and Donkey Kong Country Returns held their places in the top three. Namco Bandai's Monster Busters: Powered launched this week at number four with 19,989 units sold. This Nintendo DS title allows players to fight a slew of giant monsters based on the popular Ultraman franchise, and features gameplay akin to Capcom's Monster Hunter. Level 5's Inazuma Eleven 3: World Challenge!! The Ogre jumped back onto the top 10 after hitting number 28 last week, landing at number seven with 12,286 units sold. The final new release in the top 10 this week was Namco Bandai's turn-based RPG Venus & Braves: Majo no Megami to Horobi no Yogen, which landed at number 10 with 10,563 units sold. Last week's top title, Another Century's Episode Portable, fell from the top 10, selling 88 percent fewer units than last week. Below is Media Create's top 20 sales chart for the week ended January 23, 2011.
