The VIBE Game Club tour, a promotional event bringing musicians and game demos to 21 Historically Black Colleges and Universities, will also feature a "Game Behind the Game" panel sponsored by Boost Mobile and Motorola. The forum will offer advice and insight on how to get into the gaming and entertainment business from industry veterans. Several speakers from a rotating lineup are scheduled to speak at each forum. The forum will be hosted by radio announcer Steph Lova, and the roster of speakers will include EA Sports web developer Mike Johnson and ESPN Magazine deputy editor Kenny McAlister. Other companies represented in the forum are the Russell Simmons Music Group, Universal Music Group, Rolling Stone Magazine, Spike TV, and Bad Boy Entertainment. "The 'Game Behind the Game' forum offers students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities a chance to get a head start on determining their career paths," said Boost Mobile senior manager of events and sponsorship Daryl Butler. "This outstanding group of panelists is a direct reflection of the students themselves, which helps further their vision of what it takes to succeed." The tour began on October 24th and will continue to November 18th. A full list of the colleges and dates is available at Vibe's website.
