In this free GDC Vault video from GDC Next 2013, VP of eSports at Riot Games Dustin Beck discusses the evolution of eSports with Kevin Lin of Twitch, League of Legends pro player Cloud 9, and GPL commissioner Jason Ng with moderator djWHEAT (famed eSports commentator) in 'The Evolution of eSports as a Sport, Entertainment and International Pastime.' Also from GDC Next 2013, famed Starcraft II commentator Sean 'Day[9]' Plott spoke in length about how to design an observer-friendly game, important for eSports and other streaming events.
