Microsoft has announced that its latest regular Xbox Live Arcade update will see the addition of Namco Bandai's Mr. Driller Online, featuring multiple single player modes and multiplayer support for up to four players. As the franchise has been known for, in Mr. Driller Online players take the role of a driller moving down through a level by drilling through colorful blocks, while attempting to avoid being crushed by blocks falling from above and keeping their air supply from running out by collecting air capsules. In Quest Driller mode, players are given a specific task to perform for every 100 meters they drill through, with the game ending should they not complete the task. In online multiplayer, players can participate in split screen battles (where the best score wins) or in tag battles, where players play in pairs against each other. Mr. Driller Online will be available for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Microsoft haws also announced that this week will feature new downloadable content for Zen Studios' Pinball FX.
