Microsoft has announced that this week's regular Xbox Live Arcade update will see the addition of Lost Cities, Sierra Online's Xbox Live-enhanced conversion of the original award-winning Reiner Knizia designed card game. First announced in March, the game sees players drawing from a pool of cards to earn points as they make expeditions through various lost cities including the Himalayas, the Brazilian rain forest, the desert, ancient volcanoes and ocean depths. The original card game was created by famed board/card game designer Reiner Knizia, and won the International Gamers Award in 2000 for best two-player strategy game. In addition to a single player campaign, the title will include multiplayer for up to four players on Xbox Live, and the usual assortment of leaderboards and Achievements. The game will be available April 23rd for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
