Now's the time to vote for the 2022 GDCA and IGF Audience Awards
Winners will be announced during the GDCA and IGF awards ceremony, taking place at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.
Whether you make games or enjoy playing them—it's time to help pick your winners of the GDCA and IGF Audience Awards!
Online voting is now open for these two prestigious awards at the 2022 Game Developers Choice Awards and the Independent Games Festival Awards. Voters have until Thursday, February 10 at 11:59pm PT to submit their pick.
All 21 finalists are eligible for the GDCA Audience Award, and all 33 finalists are on the list for the IGF Audience Award. Anyone can cast their choice and help determine the winning games, which will be announced during the IGF and GDCA awards ceremony at the Game Developers Conference in March.
Previous GDCA Audience Award winners include 2021's Ghost of Tsushima, along with Beat Saber, Nier: Automata, Battlefield 1, and Life Is Strange. Arrog won the IGF Audience Award in 2021, and other winners include A Short Hike, Undertale, and Hyper Light Drifter.
The Independent Games Festival and Game Developers Choice Awards are part of GDC 2022, which will be held in-person in San Francisco from March 21-25, and virtually from March 21 to April 1. Audience Award winners will be announced at the ceremony on Wednesday, March 23 (with a simultaneous broadcast on GDC Twitch). This special event is available to watch for all GDC 2022 pass-holders.
