Electronic Arts announced today that it will bring Madden NFL and other titles to Nintendo's next-generation Gamecube console.
A total of 10 titles are currently in the works for the system, including Madden NFL 2001, SSX, NBA Street Basketball, and FIFA Soccer. In a separate announcement, Electronic Arts revealed that it has signed a publishing agreement with Fox Interactive to bring games based on Fox television shows to Xbox and Playstation 2. Currently, plans are in the works for Aliens: Colonial Marines for Playstation 2, The Simpsons Road Rage for Xbox, and a Buffy the Vampire Slayer game for Xbox. EA plans to show Madden, Aliens, and The Simpsons at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles next week.
